Local SEO services for businesses that get customers from "near me" searches

When someone nearby searches for what you sell, I want your business to be one of the first they see. I fix your Google Business Profile, your listings and your location pages so more of those searches turn into phone calls, visits and bookings.

Winning the map pack takes more than a list of directory listings

Local SEO used to mean submitting your business to fifty directories and calling it done. That stopped working years ago. Here's what actually decides whether you show up when someone nearby searches.

Radius risk

Visibility fades as you move away

Ranking right outside your own shop is the easy part. The real revenue is in the next two or three miles, where most businesses lose visibility without ever noticing.

Block by block

Rankings change block by block

Google says local results depend on relevance, distance and prominence. Distance changes with every searcher, so a business can rank first at one intersection and vanish four blocks away. A geo-grid scan shows you where.

Confused signals

Messy business details

If your name, address and phone number differ across the web, or you have duplicate listings and generic location pages, Google has a harder time being sure who you are and where you are. Clean, matching details make you easier to trust.

Zero-click intent

Many searchers never visit a website

For many local searches, the person is already deciding. They call or tap for directions right from the results without visiting a website. If you're not in the map pack, you miss that moment.

What I work on

PILLAR 01

Google Business Profile setup and tuning

  • Choosing the right primary and secondary categories so you show up for what you actually do
  • Filling in attributes, photos and a full services and products list
  • Making it easy to call or book, with tracked links and regular Google Posts
PILLAR 02

Reaching customers beyond your front door

  • A starting geo-grid scan, so you can see where your visibility drops off, block by block
  • Useful pages for the neighborhoods you serve, to widen the area where you show up
  • Location pages with local schema markup and an embedded map
PILLAR 03

Listings and consistent business details

  • Cleaning up old data, duplicate listings and conflicting phone numbers on the major data aggregators
  • Adding relevant industry and local directory listings by hand, not mass-submitted junk
  • LocalBusiness, MedicalBusiness or ProfessionalService JSON-LD schema with your location, hours, payment types, map link and service area
PILLAR 04

Reviews and reputation

  • A steady, repeatable way of asking happy customers for reviews, so they come in at an even pace
  • Replying to reviews in a natural, helpful way
  • Spotting and reporting fake listings and keyword-stuffed competitor names

How I work

1

Baseline geo-grid scan and audit

I run geo-grid scans across your service area, check your Google Business Profile end to end, and find duplicate or conflicting listings across the web.

2

Fix the profile and location pages

I rework your profile categories, correct the structured data on your location pages, and make your name, address and phone number match across the main data aggregators.

3

Build local content and listings

I add pages for the neighborhoods you serve, link them together sensibly, and earn trusted local links that support the area you want to cover.

4

Track results and widen your reach

Each month I review the geo-grid heatmaps, track calls and direction requests through GA4 and Business Profile insights, and then move on to the next area.

WHAT YOU RECEIVE IN EVERY ENGAGEMENT

  • Baseline and monthly visual geo-grid heatmap reports
  • A full Google Business Profile optimization
  • Listing cleanup, with a sheet showing what was fixed and verified
  • LocalBusiness JSON-LD schema added to your site
  • Local conversion tracking setup (calls, direction requests, and form fills via UTMs)

A real example

Kids Trends Fancy Dress, Ghaziabad

BEFORE

A new kids' costume shop with no website, and its phone number not yet showing on Google.

WHAT I DID

Managed the verified Business Profile as the shop's home page on Google, posted costumes and offers, and tracked results in the Performance report.

RESULT

First in Google's local results for 4 of the 5 searches I checked, and 209 direction requests from July to October 2026. Results vary by searcher and location, so this isn't a promise. Read the full case study.

Industries I work with

Local SEO plays out differently depending on whether you have one location or fifty, and whether customers visit you or you visit them. If your business depends on "near me" searches, this is for you.

Multi-location retail Home services Healthcare & dental Legal & professional services Restaurants & hospitality

Why work with me

  • 14+ years of hands-on work in search, not theory. I've run this for real service-area businesses across several industries.
  • Every geo-grid report is visual. You see exactly where you rank, block by block, not just a single averaged position.
  • I report spam listings and fake competitors as part of the work, not as a paid add-on.
  • I can't promise a map pack position, and nobody outside Google can. I measure where you stand, fix what can be fixed, and show you what changed. No mass directory submissions or citation farms.

Frequently asked questions

How far from my physical address can my business realistically rank in Google Maps?

There's no fixed number. It depends on your category, how many competitors are nearby, and how strong your profile and listings are. In a dense city with a crowded category, your reach can be a few blocks. In a quieter area it can stretch much further. A geo-grid scan shows your real radius, so I measure first and promise nothing.

What is the difference between Google organic rankings and Google Map Pack rankings?

Organic rankings are the standard blue links. The map pack is the block of three listings with a map that appears for local searches. They draw on overlapping but different signals, which is why a business can rank well in organic results and still be missing from the map pack, or the other way round.

How do you handle local SEO for service-area businesses without a public storefront?

Service-area businesses hide their address on their Business Profile but still need a plan built around where they actually work. I set up the profile correctly for service-area status and focus the geo-grid scans and content on the neighborhoods you serve, instead of a single storefront point.

Can I rank in multiple cities if I only have one physical office?

To a degree, yes, through location pages and useful local content. But Google tends to favor businesses with a real presence in the area, so there's a limit. I'll tell you how far that approach can realistically go for your category before it stops working.

How does review frequency and sentiment impact my Map Pack position?

Google says review count and score factor into local ranking, so more good reviews can help. Beyond that, no one outside Google knows exactly how much recency or speed matters. I focus on asking happy customers steadily and replying to every review, which is sensible whatever the exact weighting.
